“Yearly Best Paper” Award

Science Insights^® awards the paper that is nominated as the “Yearly Best Paper” for each category of the published paper in the Journal. The “Yearly Best Paper” will be highlighted on the journal website.

Eligibility

• Have publications in Science Insights^® for the past year;
• Any kinds of publications are eligible for the award;
• Nomination fee: $100 (USD) that is for the evaluation by the Nomination Committee;
• If you are a member of the BASE, the nomination fee for this application will be waived totally;
• The author or the group (over 2 authors) will be awarded up to $300 (USD) for each publication.

“Science Pioneer” Award

The BASE honors three “Science Pioneer” awards each year with $500 (USD).

Eligibility

• Must be a member of the BASE for at least one year;
• With recommendations by two peer experts;
• Nomination fee: $100 (USD) that is for the evaluation by the Nomination Committee;

• If you are the selected regional representative of the BASE or the regional editor of Science Insights^®, the nomination fee for this application will be waived totally.

“BONOI Distinguished Scientists” Award

The BASE awards two “BONOI Distinguished Scientists” each year with $1,000 (USA) for those contributing to the development of science.

Eligibility

• Have publications in Science Insights^® for the past year;
• The publication contents must be associated with the science research or science proposal;
• Must be a member of the BASE for one year;
• With recommendations by two peer experts;
• Nomination fee: $100 (USD) that is for the evaluation by the Nomination Committee;
• The award will be honored to individual author even multiple authors there for one publication.

“BONOI Distinguished Educators” Award

The BASE awards two “BONOI Distinguished Educators” each year with $1,000 (USA) for those contributing to the advancement and spread of science.

Eligibility

• Have publications in Science Insights^® for the past year;
• The publication contents must be associated with the science education;
• Must be a member of the BASE for one year;
• With recommendations by two peer experts;
• Nomination fee: $100 (USD) that is for the evaluation by the Nomination Committee;
• The award will be honored to individual author even multiple authors there for one publication.

“BONOI Young Scientists” Award

To encourage young researchers exploring science, the BASE will award two young scientists who have great and top stories for the past year with $500 (USD) for each.

Eligibility

• Have publications in Science Insights^® for the past year;
• With ages younger than 30 years old for male and 33 years for female applicants;
• The publication contents must be associated with the science research or science proposal;
• Must be a member of the BASE for one year;
• With recommendations by two peer experts;
• Nomination fee: $100 (USD) that is for the evaluation by the Nomination Committee;
• The award will only be honored to the first or the corresponding author.

“BONOI Young Educators” Award

To encourage young educators spreading science knowledge, the BASE will award two young educators who have great and encouraging stories for the past year with $500 (USD) for each.

Eligibility

• Have publications in Science Insights^® for the past year;
• With ages younger than 30 years old;
• The publication contents must be associated with education;
• Must be a member of the BASE for one year;
• With recommendations by two peer experts;
• Nomination fee: $100 (USD) that is for the evaluation by the Nomination Committee;
• The award will only be honored to the first or the corresponding author.
